Authoritative Leadership, Office politics, Biased opportunities and performance reviews. Forced attrition. Insurance policy is not good. Delayed hikes and promotions, Extended work hours due to hybrid work policy. Pets take most of the perks unless you work so hard that they have to share some. However, these are most common things that you will come across all IT companies. Just learn to survive, upskill and excel. I have got an opprtunity to work at different locations and in diversified tools and technologies and various domains. It has helped me build a robust career and helped me grow along with the organization.

Dislikes

Frequently changing revision cycles, changing promotions process and cycles and very less salary hikes. Also for the veteran employees, salary standards are very low compard to the market standards

What I like most about cognizant is their toxic work culture and politics. To be honest, if there were jobs offers I wud have left cognizant, unfortunately my career is losing grip because of Emi's and rent pay. They just only pay you 20k for 4 years, no promotions, no awards, no recognition and no growth. And they ( Home Managers) fake all their policies and they humiliate people in front of all the teammates and colleagues, likewise in front of 40-50 group ppls if there is work done 80/100 % and if we ask about wholesome variables pay and incentives, they forced you to go to cognizant portal and give resignation. I have every screenshot of humiliation and disrespectful and cheating of my managers and other project heads...Read More
