CITTA India manages a school- Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls School. If you are passionate about teaching underpriviledged kids, love engaging with the community, learning about their culture- this might just be the place for you. The best part about the job were the kids. They are talented, loveable, outgoing and have extreme potential.

Dislikes

There is no structure within the organisation. The entire organization is led by one woman, who has complete control over everything within the organization. Even the manager, who is handling the operations on ground, have no say, atleast when it comes to financial decisions of the school. No employee has any free hand. There is no work-life balance. Since you are supposed to live in the village near the school, within the community, you have no life outside work and if you have to live with difficult people, then the situation worsens ten time. Of course, that was my personal experience, not necessarily will happen to everyone. But the work culture to be honest is not great. Living in tough conditions of Jaisalmer, the management not staying on ground, creates unneccessary work pressure on the on-ground staff making the sitation even more so unbearable. Honestly, if you'd like to work for exposure, it will give you decent exposure, but be ready for the tough living conditions, ungrateful bosses and to be controlled by a single person managing the organization....Read More
