Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Job security is good. No person was fired during covid crisis till now i.e 12 May 2021. Product based organisation so they retained all employees. It is a operations based company. IT team is only for its maintenance. Learning opportunities are good for people who are new in industry. Friendly teammates. Work life balance needs a improvement on 9 hour shift you will be working 11 hours. HR/Management can interact regularly with employees so general issues can be addressed. It will also make environment more friendly. Salary is OK not good not bad. Very small cafeteria.

Such a toxic work environment. There is no work life balance, employee generally works at 12- 13 hr without any appreciation. Instant fire without allowing serve the notice period. There is no job security. I would not highly recommend to join the Cisive.
