They don't provide work after recruitment.. we need to apply by our own again in the IJP and it's really horrible..

They recruited me but while I was completing my notice period in my last company they replaced me with some other person and I sat almost 3 months on bench and literally I was worried about my job..

Good work life balance, Decent package with company shares allotment. Overall feels satisfactory.

Dislikes

My immediate reporting manager tried to extend my notice period without my awareness, just because of client request. Later escalated this to HR and sorted. Not sure about other projects, in my project - Hike and Promotion is not based on performance or fullfilling our goal setting.

In general the work culture is good in CGI. But it all depends on the project getting in.

Dislikes

If tagged in few projects in European shifts, they make us work till 12/1am when the shift ends by 10PM. This needs to be stopped. Work life balance and health is important for member partners as well

Indian leadership is only restricted to south and local karnatak people dominate too much. Too much politics as all wants to fool global managment and do all favoritism

Work life balance is good along with good job security too unless you are on bench for too long period. Most people behave respectfully in the organization

They have CGI academia for upskilling however no opportunity to get into new projects as no manager entertains or contacts them when they are on bench. Also salary increment was max 3% last year, well below industry standards.
