Public sector, Only 20 % are working for 100% of the staff. Its like their is no option for those 20% but to work. Overall Great if Public Sector Bank improve their transfer policy and get rid of bureaucratic intervention and completely get rid of trade union at-least for transfers. The work environment is actually very good and positive for every employee working out here. Though Iam not an official employee of the Canara Bank, as I have been hired by an consulting company, but Iam satisfied and happy with the behaviour of the staff towards me and there is an extremely bollant relationship between us and with our work.

Timing Management approch towards specialist officer Structural changes Poor profile charges Unofficial calls for working on weekends without any comoff Late sitting culture. Poor HR. Handing over work which is not related to profile. Unnecessary calls from higher office and putting pressure to do things which are not correct as per policy. Urealestic targets. Though it's a PSU, the work culture resembles a Private Company. I mean the advantages of being in a PSU and the work culture in private sector.

Transfers are almost every 2 year and that too pan India. Work culture is toxic. No work life balance. No respect for seniority. It's suffocating. Frequent transfers are loose-loose situation for Employees, customers (No connect with staff) and Bank( Heavy overhead transfer expenses)
