Nothing special. Didn't stay in Canara Bank long enough to understand the ins and outs of this organisation

Actually I joined in Syndicate Bank but retired from Canara Bank due to amalgamation. It would have been better if this merger hadn't happened. I would have loved to retire from original bank than leaving the office from that bank who never treated you as equal

This is a bank started by three philanthropists with a motive of helping the poor and marginalised in the society. Naturally the philosophy in SyndicateBank was/ different from its peers. There is sufficient freedom to work to your potential, though the compensation is not commensurate.

Performance and merits were not recognized and rewarded. Promotion process was not professional and transparent. Nepotism and favouritism played the big role in the process.

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer.
