Projects are stable and structured for long time , and if you get good seniors its a good company to work at.(on luck)

Dislikes

Salary and promotion takes too much time, mostly things are automated and less scope for learnings. Rely too much on process than skillgrowth

The hikes are really really less and its difficult for freshers especially as the hikes are lesser than the inflation precentage.

They have good team activities for very one work together.

They will not give everyone enough time to finish their work some of them need to work overtime everyday. They have meeting everyday that will take more time and we are not able to complete our work.

Hostile environment, poor management by narrow minded people in senior management, always blame goes to technical associates, managers never accept their poor management as the root cause of project problems, customer is not satisfied with the management

If you happen to fall in wrong team, you are dead meat. Because people at higher levels are more or less from the beginning of their careers. They have their own syndicate. Having said that, its few bad apples in the lot

I feel compare to other companies policies are good and not much work pressure.

Before joining Bosch, I feel Bosch is one of the best company and job secured. After joining I was changed my mindset, if you not perform well or you don't have any project, they ask you to put resignation or they will keeping you into LPM(PIP). Many policies are changed and also Bosch is service based company. My suggestion is while you joining don't feel Bosch is a job security company.

The company had been better till 2011-13. That time there had been ethics and work life balance with chances to learn much technical competency.

HR policies in India are worst with least benefits and hikes. Learning on job is close to nothing. Extremely slow career growth with peanut hikes. Obsolete tech stack in majority projects. Extreme micro management at org level especially in India. Roles are not what they promise initially during interview. Bad project level decisions. The once glorified job security is now a myth. Your resume will die with 3 months notice. It has become just another service company that advertises itself as product company. There are many dislikes like working culture in some departments is pathetic and toxic. Not all but middle management is ruining the reputation and brand of Bosch. Some managers openly encourage favoritism, biasing and they see treat employees from other states differently. Unfortunately I saw group culture like Tamil group, Kannadagroup, mallu group and so on and there is so much politics that even game of thrones is also small. No proper encouragement for talented associates. For promotions you either from the same state or place as your manager or you literally good at licking their a**, They don't hesitate to snatch the credits of your work. Low to Average Salary, Nepotism to the core, no respect for experience nd Job loyalty. No Value addition to your Profile, just People Management as most Business deals are won thro Bosch Germany.
