Work culture is bad. And buying Citi Bank was the biggest mistake ever that Axis has done. Citi Bank customers are leaving, there's huge attrition in the Bank. There's no one to take care of the customers. Management is least interested in the ground reality.

In Axis Bank the supervisor has the final word. He can keep whoever he wants and remove whomever he wants. HR has no value in Axis Bank. HR does as the supervisor tells it. In Axis Bank no opportunities are given to the employees. The employees do not even know when they are going to lose their job. In Axis Bank everything is in thehands of the supervisor. Freedom of speech is non-existent, and the focus is on securing business deals by any means necessary. This environment can erode your personal values and leave you vulnerable in difficult situations. The HR policy appears impressive at first glance, claiming that no employee will be terminated solely for business reasons. However, I've witnessed HR block attendance and coerce employees into resigning on orders from higher-ups.
