Long Hours, fake promise, no growth
I was hired as Field Coordinator by Amico Affiliate on Mobilinx HuLRT project, after 1.5 years working with Amico on Contract basis one fine day, Vice President calls all the employees of Amico working on Mobilinx HuLRT Project, he promises everyone that senior management will review and all the employees will be given raise according to their performance if they continue to stay with Amico. I was called as well and I was said we will make you a permanent employee after the review. After 3 months I got a call from VP again saying we reviewed your profile and we would like to offer you permanent full time position with Amico, and he said HR will send you an offer letter. I asked about the salary, he said $55K CAD with benefits, I asked I'm working on contract I get around $68K CAD, atleast match it or make it $60 yo $65K CAD. He said Okay, we will look into it and you won't get less than what you are getting. Two months pass by, I tried reaching out to the HR, and she said VP will give you a call. Later after a week VP called and said, we aren't moving forward with you being Permanent Full Time.
I missed two job positions mean while. I through that I was working with Amico and let's not switch jobs and stay with Amico. It was a stressful job overall. They were hiring new candidates but won't focus on me getting hired full time. I wasn't even allowed to move to different positions within Mobilinx. It was a bad experience. They aren't transparent enough. Atleast be transparent so, your employee knows what steps to take. VP said, reach me out in the month of September, I think that's when budget is revised. I tried mailing him couple of times, but I didn't get any update. I left my job after one or two months in November 2023. Mean while I tried contacting my manager too, but he wasn't that cooperative too....Read More
