There’s a lot of opportunities to grow and experience different roles at Allied. It’s great for making connections in the security world and learning about security and business.

Dislikes

Work life balance is very poor. Allied likes to save money on their overhead employees which means you’ll be underpaid and overworked.

For context, I am embedded as a Supervisor in a nuanced specialized position at a major tech company in the Silicon Valley through AUS. The things that I like are: - Consistent schedule of M-F during normal business hours. - A lot of things that you learn will carry over into Systems Engineer positions. - Very supportive leadership.

Dislikes

- Pay is rather low, but that is the main reason to have embedded contractors over employees. - Growth is very limited in our department. - Leadership made it clear that 2023 would be the year where no one would get raises. - Having to be in the office Monday through Friday. Our team was work from home 100% for over 2 years without any issues.

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety
