Overview
The Telecaller for Sales plays a vital role in connecting the company with potential customers, promoting products and services, and ultimately driving sales. Being based in Mumbai, the Telecaller will also provide local insights that can shape sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote company products and services.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products to effectively communicate features and benefits.
  • Generate leads and set appointments for sales team members.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct regular calls to maintain customer engagement.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information on products and services.
  • Document and update customer information in CRM systems.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to close sales.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach to all sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and trends.
  • Track performance metrics and report on daily/weekly sales activities.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and discuss strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during sales processes.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and analyzing sales data.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in telemarketing or sales, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Fluency in English and local languages spoken in Mumbai.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
  • Availability for immediate joining.
  • Flexible working hours if required based on sales campaigns.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales strategies.
