Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Its not worth it try avoiding it they made me fill long and tedious Forms took soft copy of all my docs , called me twice for 1 on 1 interview and later no response from HR they also did a background check with my ealier manager which ended jeopardizing my relationship with one of my ex manager

Alternate documents for Employee verification?
My new employer asked for my previous offer letters and salary slips. When I inquired, they said it was for background verification.
However, I feel that providing these documents might affect salary negotiations, and it feels a bit unethical too.
