1. No appraisals. 2. No qualified employees. 3. No feedback discussions, managers have no clue about promotions, appraisals, variable pay, increments, etc. 4. HRs don't even bother connecting with the employees. No discussions about the motivation, what the employees need. For 6 months they don't even know who are the employees they are tagged to. 5. No company formal structure. Feedbacks shared with the management goes into bin. They do what they feel like doing. 6. No food arrangements, no proper offices, no meeting rooms, no snacks, no coffee/tea, no gym, no breakout games etc. 7. The moment you enter the office, you feel like you are in a graveyard, where there is total silence. Lack of meeting rooms, forces people to take calls from their bay disturbing everyone around them. 8. Everything blocked on your laptops. At times even client websites are blocked. 9. Laptops from 2001 eras are given. Who will feel like working. 10. They get refurbished laptops and give it to the employees, where the employees keep struggling. 11. No Projects in Pipeline. Most of the projects are short term. After every project you have attend multiple rounds to get a new project. Usually, there will be always 2 to 3 months gap for each project assignment. I regret my time working at UST Global, particularly in the Talent Acquisition department. The experience was nothing short of disheartening due to several serious issues that hindered professional growth and well-being. • Extreme Micromanagement – Every step of the way, my work was closely monitored and micromanaged, which stifled any opportunity for independent decision-making and creativity. It was an environment where trust and autonomy were nonexistent. • Hire and Fire Culture – The company operated with a constant "hire and fire" mentality. I witnessed employees being brought in only to be let go shortly after, creating an atmosphere of instability and fear. • Termination Threats – There were constant threats of termination, even for minor mistakes or challenges. This created an environment of anxiety where employees were always on edge. • Pseudo Pressure – The culture was marked by a false sense of urgency and pressure that often felt artificial. Management imposed unnecessary stress, which was counterproductive and demoralizing. • Office Politics – The workplace was deeply entrenched in politics, with favoritism and manipulation influencing decisions. This left little room for merit-based progress or transparency. • Toxic Culture – The overall culture was toxic, with negativity and distrust permeating the environment. It was difficult to find support or collaboration among colleagues due to the competitive and often hostile atmosphere. • No Career Stability – There was no sense of career stability. The lack of job security, combined with the unpredictable environment, made it challenging to envision any long-term growth within the company. • Unprofessional Managers and Communication – The management team displayed highly unprofessional behavior, including poor communication and disrespectful interactions. The leadership's inability to foster a supportive environment created significant frustration. In my experience, UST Global was not only detrimental to personal career growth but also detrimental to mental well-being.
