As a Branch Manager for Nepal I was overall responsible for entire operations of the branch which included Sales of Earth moving Equipment of Caterpillar, US along with Sales of Spare Parts & Service, Accounts, Independent Correspondence, Inventory Control, Imports of Equipment and Spare Parts. This was completely an new area where I gained maximum knowledge about Sales Strategy, Sales Planning and Contingency Planning etc. The Salary was satisfactory and growth prospect was average . Dislikes

Travel Policies were not structured. The growth prospect was not that promising.

Work Details

It was hectic as well risk involved. Constant working with construction companies whereby one Equipment Breakdown directly affected the customers in terms of hour operation and leading to delay in project. Hence Customer Satisfaction was a real challenge.
