One of best thing is job security in working with TCS and good opportunity for growing multiple high level skills but choose wisely while taking projects.

Dislikes

Initially for freshers they will ask you to work on support project and later they will move you to development or which u like to work but once’d you allocated to support project they will never remove from that.

TCS is a great place for providing different learning platforms for having the continuous learning. The other factors such as work life balance, work satisfaction, promotions and appraisal depends upon the project environment

As this is a large organisations, the associate may not get the choice of project interested for low experience associates.

Not good appraisal, learning program need to improve if some one is busy on the project then not getting update and give time into that. Don’t respect employees if you have questions and queries then no one is there to answer even HR don’t reply.

Everything depends on project manager and fortunately we got a good one. Work load is like any other company but value will be given to hard working person. Overall good company providing job opportunity to needy.

Likes

Experience matters only, work doesn't, especially if you spent your life in TCS. Once you get into a project, its fine whether you work or not. Biggest advantage of all!

Dislikes

It is very difficult to know which guy to get into. As they keep changing your managers. Don't go there if you are introvert, you will be isolated. Try to join the team which belongs to your state only, the remote guys always have a disadvantage in terms of everything.
