One of the best companies you can work with for the rest of your life. Talking about retirement from an organisation.

Dislikes

The negetive point which I am going to mention is not valid for people working there & decided that they will not change there organization until there retirement. So the thing is TCS will give you a hike of 30 to 50% on top of your last drawn as long as you can show a valid document, while joining. After which your salary keep increasing with every aprisal, no matter which position you're working on. Now why am I writing this as a negetive point! Here comes the twist. If you are working at an entry level & you try to change your organization, you will not get that salary from any other company for that kind of role. The biggest problem in TCS is they will keep increasing your salary however without giving you any promotion. So now you're sort of stuck with a high salary & without any higher level experience. After I resigned from TCS & started searching for other jobs, I realised that I have a salary of assistant manager or rigional manager. However I have experience of an senior associate only. It's very very hard to find a job after leaving TCS. If you have stayed there for long. In other companies they have capping system where your salary cannot increase after a certain limit no matter how hard you try, until you get a promotion. I know that is sort of a negative thing but it forces people to go back and work on themselves to get a promotion at every cost or change the company at the right time. That doesn't happen in TCS. 24×7 process includes shifts,which was affect health. Because continuos changing in shift is not possible for girls.

Only the HIS part is good in this company. If you're in safe hands means if your Supervisor and Manager is good then you can work life will be balanced otherwise no chance.

Dislikes

Toxic environment work culture, no one understands your problem they will throw you out. HR are pathetic never helped or listened. Worst company company doesn't care about you or your problem. So it's better to leave before it's too late and it's impacted your health and career.

As i am currently working in TCS and i can surely say that there is a huge job security in TCS without any worries.But coming to the growth and learning a little backwards and as everyone knows that TCS pays a little less as compared to many others.

Salary, Pollitics, Partiality, Will not be recognised If you have a problem and take it too management/ HR, they will not sort of the issue instead they will say this and that reasons and make you shut.

Good for work life balance. Lack of transparency in processes due to enormous workforce. Transport facility available.

Dislikes

If you work hard you don't get recognise and appraisal too. you don't get opportunities to developing your skills(it's based on teams). Until u change the team and also the team change not all possible to change if the manager and team lead likes you only it's happened.
