Hike and promotion. Manager won't initiate ur promotion unless u ask. If someone is well doing apart from u,then ur promotion is doubtful.

No employee friendly policies, you would never know what is happening in the organisation, same 5-6% increments since decades, work life balance, overtime, weekend works, office commutation, wrost HRs and RMG team.

I like the culture here. There are so many employees coming from different states and are very nice. Also there is caste discrimination. If you are a hijabi or naqabi you can happily wear it without any problem.

Dislikes

It's actually hard to describe likes and dislikes but to be honest it's unfair forany employees working here. Some are getting extremely tough projects and team is also not supportive instead they want you to do everything all alone. Whereas some employees are on bench from almost a year or two.

Freshers can learn and gain skills sets and can switch to another company. Tcs is not like company it is more of like school. After college you can start your professional journey from here. But it has its own drawback which I'll discuss in dislike section. Some of Its policy is good but also these have its own drawback XD. such as health insurance benifits, No layoff policy.

Lack of employee centric policy. Most of the people working here because of job security and life insurance benifits. Salary of a freshers is not practical according to current days scenario. Freshers have less scope to grow up and less promotion opportunities. No matters how much work are you delivering higher management will only force you to come back office. Some people do nothing literally just only sucking the company. Management is puppet. Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

Dislikes

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. Mindset - No growth mindset, cheap policies to save money from every corner, don't provide any good facilities office or any tech related infra. No concern about employee well being and top management lacks leadership qualities big time.

Variable should not be considered under CTC, If at all considered should be within 1lac bcoz the company tend to reduce salary based on the variable part.

I didn't the way of behaving rmg s and hr s, if we are in bench depending upon skill we can choose the project but the rmgs doing completely wrong whatever project is there they will allocate us even if we are worked in development project in previous they will assign us service desk projects, worst i didn't like this
