Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

Dislikes

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. Mindset - No growth mindset, cheap policies to save money from every corner, don't provide any good facilities office or any tech related infra. No concern about employee well being and top management lacks leadership qualities big time.

My career had the lowest low when I had to join TCS. It was all because of an internal transition and not voluntarily at all. There is absolutely no growth at all. Like zero growth financially inspite of I working in a very challenging and competent product based company, as my client.

I dislike everything. My mental health took a toll here thinking about what my career life is turning out to be.

The work culture is not good.. Keep working like typical corporate slave.. HRs don't share the policy when asked.. on top of that it depends on the project side and the manager to approve certain policy.. Then why it is made a TCS policy not sure.. ex. WFH for non birthing parent

I don't even hate my manager as I understand they are also being pressured by their higher ups. They have no choice but to call us on Saturdays and Sundays. I am in one of the big projects in banking sector. So the pressure is high for everyone involved.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. TCS is very good organisation to work for 10 - 15 plus year of experience people. Nice culture and work life balance. Good on-site opportunities. Don’t expect much salary hike and growth. Again it depends upon your project to project.

-Salary increment is very poor compare to inflation rate a lot of deductions, also during increment they just adjust some of the components in the CTC, no promotion since 3 years just changing positions and increasing workload internally (that also not on the paper) and not giving money for additional workload (simply exploitation) and lot of micromanagement. - They prefer to give more packge to new joiner than currently working professionals who already have expertise and we have to train them, also sometimes they used to get work done from freshers for cost cutting; here also we have to train the freshers. - Also some of the project managers are expecting a work from employees during weekends too. - And the limit was reached when they asked to submit backpack when I was leaving the organization which was provided during the joining time otherwise you have to bourne money i.e. cost of backpack as a fine (never seen such a miser organization before)....Read More
