Work life balance is good with positive work culture. Benefits and allowance are good.

Dislikes

Reward & recognition are comparatively on the lower side, may be subject to a project based. Band promotion after a certain level is very rare.

They do not fire people who is not working and sitting on desk for years but they denied to pay the quarterly bonus and increment to people who is doing hard work. What a joke but it's true

Hiring people hide the work profile and align the non domain work. If you ask for release they are denying as per policy. Fake people Fake environment.

TCS is good but the management is worst I have ever seen even the HR is not supportive at any way. They tag forcefully to the project and threaten to everyone if you are not joining so and so project we will terminate you and spoil your ratings. Currently some projects are just started and trainings are going on but HR and management is forced to do overtime on Saturday and Sunday if we say to to do overtime because of our personal pre planned schedules but they threaten us to do otherwise they do worst with us they forces us to not take leave for personal purposes or even don’t allow us to take sick leave they strictly force us to submit medical documents on the first days . This is totally mentally harassment but we can’t do anything in this because HR is also supporting this kind of work....Read More

The working professionals in the company, they tend to be suicide, exploring their powers. They have gained while working in the organisation over the new commerce, creating an environment for everyone for kids at least in my project..

Working at TCS boost our energy and talent with all the real time mentors and humble managers. Team work is an excellent experience.

Dislikes

The salaries and hikes are too low compared to other organisations. If the assosiate don't get satisfied with the work and pay then there will be dissatisfaction which might affect the efficiency of work.

The work culture is not good.. Keep working like typical corporate slave.. HRs don't share the policy when asked.. on top of that it depends on the project side and the manager to approve certain policy.. Then why it is made a TCS policy not sure.. ex. WFH for non birthing parent

I like my colleagues who encourage and support me.

I don't even hate my manager as I understand they are also being pressured by their higher ups. They have no choice but to call us on Saturdays and Sundays. I am in one of the big projects in banking sector. So the pressure is high for everyone involved.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. TCS is very good organisation to work for 10 - 15 plus year of experience people. Nice culture and work life balance. Good on-site opportunities. Don’t expect much salary hike and growth. Again it depends upon your project to project.

-Salary increment is very poor compare to inflation rate a lot of deductions, also during increment they just adjust some of the components in the CTC, no promotion since 3 years just changing positions and increasing workload internally (that also not on the paper) and not giving money for additional workload (simply exploitation) and lot of micromanagement. - They prefer to give more packge to new joiner than currently working professionals who already have expertise and we have to train them, also sometimes they used to get work done from freshers for cost cutting; here also we have to train the freshers. - Also some of the project managers are expecting a work from employees during weekends too. - And the limit was reached when they asked to submit backpack when I was leaving the organization which was provided during the joining time otherwise you have to bourne money i.e. cost of backpack as a fine (never seen such a miser organization before)....Read More
