Best company to work with complete job satisfaction work and family life balance is well maintained.

Dislikes

Biggest drawback of the company is no-rehiring policy this policy refrains pulling back the employees who have left the organisation and want to rejoin the organisation I wish if this policy would be abrogated I would be very happy to rejoin. Salary increment is quite slow in pace that is again a pain point it could get little better.

I likes about the TCS is good work culture, low work pressure, work-life balance, lots of opportunities to learn and the most job security.

Dislikes

It feels good working at TCS. The work culture is good, with low work pressure and lots to learn but the salary increament as per the seniority and role is low. If the salary is justified as per the seniority or designation, I would never left TCS.

Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop

Dislikes

Reward & recognition are comparatively on the lower side, may be subject to a project based. Band promotion after a certain level is very rare.

The overall experience is good, but need to get more exposure if are in a big team otherwise your notable works are not even considered on appraisals/promotions.

Appraisal is not prior based on performance alone. Also not a good company if you are joining as a fresher, I would suggest if you are joining after 2-3 companies.

Appraisal pattern was horifing , favouriteism are there for Appraisal , RNR, work from home facility, company policy is against favouriteism under the Tata code of conduct but still it is very common in projects. Experience and talented employee get 3-4 % salary hike for YOY but favourite employee gets 7% hike minimum.

Only labors can work here not engineers. It’s not a IT COMPANY It’s a labour shop where labors getting delivered to clients . Nothing to like just hate this company.

Almosy everything other than job security. I worked in client loc. Worklife balance was the worst. Not to mention salary hikes and appraisal which is less than 5%. if u are lucky then 10%. Very difficult to take leaves even tho we had leave balance.

My previously key skills is different they are giving me diff work and that is not useful. Only copy paste work no one cares your. No value in this organisation.

Working with TCS is great experience but the project to which I have worked the managers are too toxic. They won't give respect to other health, they force the associates to report to office even on sick leave.

Dislikes

Mangers toxic nature. Least respect to the associates. Iam not telling that every manager is like that in TCS but my projects managers are like that.

1.Hire talent with skills and giving roles which doesn't suite their skillset and de-skill them. 2. Never promotes the employee who contributes. 3. Only one financial year you will be recognised or given A band and in upcoming years either you work or not there won't be any recognition. 4. They will set some rules and exceptions but the Hr and lead or managers won't follow or adhere to it only people below C3 has to follow and sometimes approvals were not approved on time which impacts cut down in employees salaries and HR or accounts or finance will do nothing about it and say it as employees responsibilities. 4. Everything here is employees responsibilities... if work environment is poor , washroom is dirty or network is poor or access door has issue or personal belongings stolen. Etc... nobody here is helpout anyone. Take self care or leave it. 5. Some people in bech will do fun activities like games, dance and stuff and only they will enjoy . Rest of the ppl watch and walk away. Just to showcase outside world. 6. In the name of onsite opportunity they will hire and cheat the employees 7. They will ask you to upskilled but won't let you to utilise the skill. 8. They will brag you to do some mandatory course again and again which is of no use. Just to some case they follow proceeding and for their auditing purpose. 9. They will ask you to log attendance in tcs portal , tcs excel sheet , client portal, client excel and client network excel for tcs reference. 10.
