Overall the company policies and work life balance is really good. Also, company provides some decent perks and benifits.

Dislikes

Only downside is that the growth is very limited in terms of both monetary and technologically.

It has low work load due to enough support staff and job is secure as TCS will never ask to leave unless there is a major policy violation.

Dislikes

No Appraisals. No Bonus. No management of Project. No proper Org Hierarchy. All Policies are Complex and Confusing. Internal project movement is near impossible. Promotion will be heard rarely. Lots of hidden charges. And the most important, you will never get salary given in offer letter, it will be short by around atleast 2 LPA or more than that only.

1. There are no other benefits apart from salary 2. 5 days WFO failing which they deduct in the quarterly performance pay. 3. Salary Hike is for name sake you will end up getting 30 to 35k per year for highest band. 4. No technical growth. Here most of the projects are like support kind of thing so there is no technical growth. 5. Apart from job security there are no other benefits

No promotion they delay by 2 to 3 years for no reason and for that delayed years you need to keep rating high or else they say you are not eligible for it too much politics salary increment is single digit some of them got less that 4 even after 12 to 14 hours during final phase of delivery the more you stay in TCS the more you loose.

I joined as a Project Manager but expectations are to manage the sales and marketing role as well. No KT session, process is not clearly defined. You will feel alone because there is no buddy system. VARIABLE pay is SCAM, company pays only 25 to 40 percent of that amount. Extended working hours with not benifits. Incompetent management. Poor annual increment.

The work culture is not good.. Keep working like typical corporate slave.. HRs don't share the policy when asked.. on top of that it depends on the project side and the manager to approve certain policy.. Then why it is made a TCS policy not sure.. ex. WFH for non birthing parent
