So many. No proper work timing. 1 person is responsible for working on business hours, non business hours and on weekend. Management is very poor. Management won’t understand your personal problems as well. Everyone will torcher you. You won’t get any sympathy even you have supported team on bad time. They say remote work would be establish but no they force you to work from office only. There is no common policy for all. job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

Provide exposure to lot of technologies, focuses on individual learning and growth and excellent work culture. Brilliant workplace and facilities.

I don't even hate my manager as I understand they are also being pressured by their higher ups. They have no choice but to call us on Saturdays and Sundays. I am in one of the big projects in banking sector. So the pressure is high for everyone involved.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Almosy everything other than job security. I worked in client loc. Worklife balance was the worst. Not to mention salary hikes and appraisal which is less than 5%. if u are lucky then 10%. Very difficult to take leaves even tho we had leave balance.

Working with TCS is great experience but the project to which I have worked the managers are too toxic. They won't give respect to other health, they force the associates to report to office even on sick leave.

Dislikes

Mangers toxic nature. Least respect to the associates. Iam not telling that every manager is like that in TCS but my projects managers are like that.

1.Hire talent with skills and giving roles which doesn't suite their skillset and de-skill them. 2. Never promotes the employee who contributes. 3. Only one financial year you will be recognised or given A band and in upcoming years either you work or not there won't be any recognition. 4. They will set some rules and exceptions but the Hr and lead or managers won't follow or adhere to it only people below C3 has to follow and sometimes approvals were not approved on time which impacts cut down in employees salaries and HR or accounts or finance will do nothing about it and say it as employees responsibilities. 4. Everything here is employees responsibilities... if work environment is poor , washroom is dirty or network is poor or access door has issue or personal belongings stolen. Etc... nobody here is helpout anyone. Take self care or leave it. 5. Some people in bech will do fun activities like games, dance and stuff and only they will enjoy . Rest of the ppl watch and walk away. Just to showcase outside world. 6. In the name of onsite opportunity they will hire and cheat the employees 7. They will ask you to upskilled but won't let you to utilise the skill. 8. They will brag you to do some mandatory course again and again which is of no use. Just to some case they follow proceeding and for their auditing purpose. 9. They will ask you to log attendance in tcs portal , tcs excel sheet , client portal, client excel and client network excel for tcs reference. 10. Do not join TCS Internal IT unit ever, very fraud management and RSDO for Delhi Branch, they are poison for Employees. Specially Subir Mukherjee, Ajita Varma, Rachit Goel. They will bite you like snake, never join this unit. After completing their work, they will never identify who are you, toxic work environment and no growth at all.

Peers are helpful as all are suffering from one thing underpaid and flexible time, clean campus.

Management is worse. Theur managers are that much skilled they put you in testing team if you are a developer. I heard if you get D band then your CTC will be reduced with some percentage. RMG is pathetic, thier only intention is to insult people and forced people to make them resign

Great work culture, good environment for networking and maintaining quality work life balance, with time and effort your work can get recognised and your presence and work points can easily reach to higher management at ease, here in the banking and finance unit it is consistently taking up and working on new technologies, being a strong competitor in the software product market.

Associate is required to rely on self learning for growth, appraisal and benefits are not up to market standards.
