The company maintains a perfect work life balance in some projects and have a good cultural path in each sectors. Makes us learning daily with variety of activities and educational programs.

Dislikes

Appraisals and promotions are given for the employees in average scale which makes the employees to think about jumping the company. Other than that its a very good company.

Medical Benefits and Tag to impress others for being a TCS Employee. I've got released within 1 month after paying 2 months basic salary, is the only thing to say good about throughout my tennure. Thanks to the Supervisor angel person.

1. Next to terrible on appraisal n salary hike n promotion part. 2. HR and RMG are all blood sucking vampires, never were and never will work in employee favour. 3. Supervisor is favor making machine BUT ONLY for Girls and his favourite ones who are always ready to catch his shit. 4. Asking for release from project feels like you'veasked for one of the kidney of Supervisor, he will try giving all the possible excuses which makes no sense but you'll fall prey easily as you are not aware of company policies which happens in 99% cases and for remaining tennure you'll hv to live on supervisor's mercy. After changing almost 5 projects, last one was life changing and finally decided to say TATA to Tata. TCS has very good work culture with very supportive colleagues, seniors, upper management, client and HR. I have experienced very good work life balance here with focus on effective and on time work delivery. Also job security is a prominent point here.

On time appraisal, salary increment are not satisfactory.

Salary hike is very bad. Like in 5 6 years also there will be no significant changes in your salary slip. No bonus or gift cards. No recognition of good work. Internal politics will hamper productivity. And the worst thing now is WFO without fail or else salary will be deducted.

Appraisal and recommendations are not satisfactory. India's inflation rate starts at 8% hence if yearly appraisal is below 5% then we are not even beating the inflation with our hike which is a pain at TCS

Lack of new opportunities, poor management and ineffective leadership are major issues. Dirty politics force good leaders to leave, causing employees to suffer as management fails to follow TCS values. Everything depends on having good leaders.
