1. Sometimes you would feel lack of long term vision. 2. Organisation level offsite hasn't happened for a long time now. 3. Less founder interaction at department level (Analyst Department)

Synaptic give a high responsibility to employees. There are fewer layers and you can get the resources needed to execute ideas. The work culture is generally good - there is good hustle, but hours are not very long. People are talented, ambitious and tech savvy.

Job security can be an issue, there were layoffs recently

The Research Team based out of Bangalore has an extremely pathetic and toxic culture. The director and the managers especially from the Industrial & Healthcare practice areas are well known for their targeting tactics. They constantly cause mental harassment and have no regard for personal space. The work is boring and it can honestly be automated, the director snubbed an employee who wanted to automate things using GenAI, they restrict innovation and play blame games instead of actually working together and implementing a fine tuned process. The HR department is so focused on getting reviews removed, instead of keeping watch on the practices in the bangalore research team.
