Standard Chartered Bank is a place to work and gain alot of new things and also multi task. If you haven't work at standard charterd bank, this means you are missing alot. The people working in the bank are so much friendly and we work as a team to archive a goal.

Dislikes

Work pressure is very high to the extent that you can be engage with 10 different at time but staffing takes years. Line managers sometimes do even value individuals strength, I still need to stay back in the office after closing hours to support some users having issues with their systems, iPads, and iPhones.

Company policies are followed in letter and spirit. Implementation of internal policies is done with utmost professionalism. Lot of check and balances are there so that there is no room to bypass such policies.

Dislikes

Personal growth, work life balance, remuneration as per market standards - these factors are not given slightest of importance by department heads. Lack of support from seniors and blame game when things go wrong. Internal politics has reached to the levels of toxicity. Some innocent employees are even victims of vendetta politics.

No hike. No recognition.. lots of partiality about staffs... If u highlight anything respective employee will b targetted and will b punished either by not giving hike or by putting them under PIP... Have undergone much and not voicing out anything to keep myself safe...

It's good to be working with Standard Chartered Bank with WFH. Work is there but there is shift allowance for day and night, plus cabs. India Trade is bad. Best are US and UK shift process.
