Dislikes

Overall procedures are good at Projectsdeal. I am a freelance scientific writer so no fixed income and job security. Timely payment and tax relaxation on overall income as per the country norms of the writer is expected.

Work Details

As a scientific writer my work is to write research proposals, review papers, essay writing of various areas like nursing, biotechnology, and health care issues like cancer, obesity, smoking, alternative medicines, at times it is challenging.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

I feel there's a scope for improvement in appraisal policy, especially for people who have been associated with the company for a long time.

It's actually great. I get to work as per my schedule and with the help of project coordinators, the execution of project becomes smooth.
