Day by day just the policies are increasing, they are restricting every thing we try to access making developers life hard, unnecessary trainings, why the hell would I take biology course? Even seniors are exiting due to no appraisals.. fired all my colleagues who were the same designation as me, it's like they have to find projects because resource management is useless or non existent, What kind of thing is that first they have to give interviews and get selected in a company just so that they have to find projects by themselves? Referral thing is worst I don't know how they hire even... on job site there is one job id and while referring it can't even find that job by id... Who even developed those sites. and don't even get me started on IT team I have never seen biasing to this level ever, if you raise a request for monitor if you know that guy, speak his language they give him better monitor and for the rest old ones why are there old tf panel monitors anyway? As a fresher you will learn a lot if you are allocated to an good project. Felxible timing Wfo mandatory is dependant on project. If you are having any special skills they will give you that bonus as well

Dislikes

Life will get worst when you are allocated to Indian client. You will be forced to work more. And no benefits of it. Micromanagement is done with people who are not having more experience. To retain good relation with client they can accept unrealastic timelines. If you are bench more than 1 or 2 months you will be forced to put down the papers.

WLB: Good in my case, no work on weekends, minimal overtime work, The Manager was really good, humble, and supportive, no definite punching time, one needs to show up for a minimum 5hrs per day in the office for 2 days per week. But the WLB is team, project, and manager dependent entirely, one of my colleagues was into some salesforce support project, and WLB was horrible.

Job Security: They can fire you anytime without completing the notice period even if you are in a project billed or unbilled. So, Basically the worst job security. There are people who have been on the bench for as long as 6 months. When the company is not doing good, there will be calls from the upper management to the manager to forcefully put some people on PIP, and thereafter they will fire you in the name of performance issues. Quality of Work and flexibility in choosing a project: It all depends on luck. People who already have certain skillsets and tech stack knowledge are being allocated to a project with entirely different tech stacks and if he/she complains, HR calls him and immediately asks him to forcefully resign. And for Freshers who are hired, they randomly allocate them to any training without asking about their preferences and skillsets. For Ex: Someone well-versed in development is allocated to QA training so there is no flexibility in choosing or changing the training track. Promotion and Appraisal: Yearly appraisals are there but that is just peanuts, the better thing is to switch the company. Salary: Similar to other WITCH companies. Freshers who are hired are given salaries according to their college or coding skills. The starting salary is around 4.75, 7.5, or 9lpa. Majority of them are hired at lower salaries and then exploited to the core. The amount of work is almost similar for different salaries offered. The senior employees of the company are the most lifeless beings in the organization, sad and addicted to cigarettes, and alcohol. Nothing is good higher management just think about there self and not caring about the employee life. Even for asking extra leaves for our personal work they will not given. They didn't care about employees personal life. They said follow client calendar 🥵. Some Client also doing partiality if girls doing the mistake and taking time is ok. If boy's doing the mistake is productive issues what politics going on didn't understand this thing also ignore. Lot of old monolithic application work not much learning. They give work on lagacy project. At time of they promised to give the chance on Microservice or advanced tech but after joined just put in old, lagacy, lot of boiler code, fustrest work on projects. Most of the projects are in support and no work life balance. Persistent has changed lot of policies to meet revenue and policies are not employees friendly. Many project follows toxic work culture. Management is only concerned about shareholders not the stackholders.

It's better to join some startup than this company. It's complete waste of your time in your career.You will learn nothing here except how to be slave of client. You will be sold to client thereafter no connect with you from persistent except client escalations .plus here there is partiality and favourism at its peak..Media agility (Which persistent have aquired) team have upper edge then persistent team, only people from media agility have say in decision making, your input wont be entertained if you are not from media agility team. GOOD HIKE AND PROMOTION ARE ONLY FOR BOOTLICKERS and media agility company people.Better sit at home for couple of month to search for new Job then to join here.Still if you join here then check who is from media agility team and just observe, they will have all the control and you will work there like their slave.Also here during early appraisal cycle lots of lay off happens (count in 100s) which no one talk about. HR will call you in cabin and say today is your last day. They will forcibly ask you to resign.This applies to you when you are not allign in any project there in no bench system in this organization.People from media agility won't get this treatment even if they are do not have any project, they won't be fired.
