The company is small size 8-10 people, with Average age of employee 25 years. I am a part of a team that's into sales & marketing of 'niche' products. Therefore i get to travel to Germany & entire India. All clients are leading companies so it helps to develop good relations. The best thing here is 'flexible' working hours and managing director is always OPEN for your new ideas.

Skill development - Good
Job security - Good
Work satisfaction - Good
Company culture - Good

Dislikes

Saturday is working day so very difficult to manage work-life balance. After some time there's is NO system in place to enhance your skill set. Salary is OK, as per your individual experience, with annual bonus included.

Work Details

It's challenging work to market 'made in Germany' products against china & India competition. But desk research always helps. Basically it's project sales so long sales cycle and lot of patience is required. Best thing is MD is quite friendly.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
