What I like in this company that the owner is readily adopts latest technology and mind to develop. This encourages the Survey team as well as Photogrammetry team. Owner is very polite to clients.

Dislikes

The owner is only polite to clients not a bit to the staffs. He uses offensive languages to Survey team mostly. The work pressure is very high, sometimes I have to work from 9am to 4am, ie., 19 hours, continuously with only 2 break of maximum 15 minutes, But owner do not value this effort and scolded me for the work lagging (not my fault). When I asked for salary increment he tried to remove me from that post....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
