Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Though, it's still small in comparison to other E-commerce companies, but I can certainly make an statement that it's one of the best companies to work for. Be it the CEO or staff's or work atmosphere, self-growth everything is just amazing.

Dislikes

The freedom to work. You got your responsibilities and you just have to fulfill it, no one's gonna stay at your head poking you over and over. You just need to do give the results in the best interest of company and as well as for it's customers.
