The initial salary would be fine that you would get.

Dislikes

No job security, you'll always find a sword of being fired hanging around your neck. No stability. Since last two years there has been no appraisal. Work hours are pathetic, people don't care about norms or rules. Finish your work even if you are on hospital bed. There is a history of Iris, they hire and fire very often. So trustwould be a major issue if you are joining this organization. They don't have devops team hence you'll need to work on saturday and sundays as well, to deploy the code on weekends....Read More

Confused about Salary negotiations

CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
