Promotion process is not transparent. Also admin transfers are very harsh for women employees. They do not consider whether an employee is having small kid or pregnant. Very long working hours . Sitting in branches till 8 pm is usual .

Dislikes

Working condition, old employees are just taking fun and some are like pest to organisation. Leaves you won't get because everytime there is staff shortage. Means you cannot freely ask for your own leaves..you will be harrasesd and there are so many bogus rules of you are branch head or ABH, you won't get leaves easily.

IDBI is not employee centered. The women employee should be given deviation in transfer policy after checking the family situation. The promotion policy is also very tough and very demotivating. Late sitting is normal and usual. it seems like a big mistake if we leave on time. No work life balance esp in branches

Nothing. Regional Head - Ranjan Kannhiyaa.... But one point i want to inform public that some Regional Head specially Ranjan Kannnihya - Thane are treating thier staffs likes a "गुलाम" ...He just talks any rubbish words during review..They treat IDBI Bank as thier own proprietary concern. He calls his branch staff on holidays also without due consideration about thier personal works during holidays. He also indulges in "प्रांतवाद" favouring some of his good bioks staffs ignoring well being of other staff. Also as per RBI guidelines branch staffs are supposed to focus on branch day to days operations focusing customer service. But Regional Head Mr. Ranjan Kannihya - Thane forced staff for selling LIC policies. RBI need to monitor this....Read More

I don't think working in the bank itself is a terrible job not only this bank for that matter every bank I could say. The only positive thing I like in this bank is giving a good amount of salary, that's it nothing more.

I literally hate selling the LIC policies here especially in this IDBI Bank.For every month each staff has to sell minimum 2 LIC policies and general insurance policies, if not sometimes the regional office will not leave you to go to home and even the employees have no other option left and they themselves take the LIC policies andgeneral insurance policies for them and for their family to avoid this pressure. I don't even understand are we bankers or selling agents, seriously this was the only reason I have resigned my job along with some other reasons pertaining to work culture as well. But mostly I highly recommend not to join this particular bank or any bank for that matter. The pressure will be immensely high to do LIC policies, General insurances and other government schemes as well. You need to beg to avail your casual leave for one day. Frequent change of transfer policy. And very low probability of promotion. Transfer across the country against the request of the employee putting the personal life of employee and their family members in deep trouble.
