I had given my 14 precious years to ICICI Bank since 2010. The culture was extremely employee friendly and specially respectful for women. But now things are very different. No respect no rewards and vindictive and toxic work culture

Off late the culture has become very toxic and few people who have gained power in the system are taking the whole thing for a nice ride! No workstation, forced travels to distant locations through random transfers,despite of opportunities of working from nearby location, vindictive and revengeful seniors who are using the system and denying employees of their bonus and increment. HR is a puppet with deaf ears and dumb face. I was forced to leave as I was denied of any growth or opportunities despite being a super performer all through. One person who did not liked me and was powerful took away all my benefits and made me sit like a furniture without any defined KRA. Had tried several means to reach out to HR and seniors but they royally ignored my turmoil. Worst management, worst office culture, senior management are filtering with others. It's looking like KGF. Girls can't raise her voice against senior.

If you are good at playing corporate politics then definitely join this company. Senior management knows that their jobs are safe so they can do nothing and give generic gyan to new joiners.

Dislikes

Middle managers are not at all know what exactly is going on in other banking company. They are just saving their jobs and doing what the seniors are guiding to them without even questioning.
