The good thing about ICICI is the policies are employee centric. Job satisfaction & scope of learning is high in some teams. Internal processes are far advanced than fellow banks. Customer acquisition policies are stringent which is very good. Senior management has a very good clarity on how the bank is being shaped.

Branch employees expected to be there in branch by 8.45 AM (where actual timing is 9.15AM) Sales teams commits all the short cuts to keep their MIS numbers in place and blames last leg employee in the name of review if something backfires Sr employees in branches cant accept to be called by names in retail Frequent role & location changes in Retail Banking Group within the zones Irrespective of skill, if grade fits people will be pushed in to the roles Retail team's work life balance and culture is horrible, Too much of meetings and unnecessary PPTs & Teams review calls to sales teams Few toxic and desperate people in mid senior level, taking ad-hoc decisions and drives the teams without concrete idea on bank's macro view...Read More

1. Alternate saturdays working for back-office/support staff can be backed with Hybrid-model or no saturdays if full work from office 2. Infrastructure (like chairs/canteen) & IT helpdesk services (by 3rd parties) can be improved at places (eg; Lower parel, Chandivli office) 3. Handover process can be smoothened & responsibilities be aligned once Handover made 4. Manager II level should also be given concessional home loans 5. Pay-scale can be still improved compared to MNC banks, given that working hours can exceed at ICICI bank based on some working saturdays.
