I have concerns regarding ICICI Bank's compensation and work culture. Specifically: - Salary: The bank offers significantly lower salaries (4-6 LPA) to Tier 3 college graduates with 5-6 years of experience, including B.Tech/M.Tech degrees, compared to freshers from top-tier1 colleges for similar work. - Workload: Employees are oftenoverloaded with excessive work, leading to undue stress. - Bias: There appears to be a bias towards hiring and promoting graduates from Tier 1 colleges. - Promotion and hikes: Opportunities for growth and salary increases seem limited. - Work environment: Some senior managers allegedly create a toxic work environment, exhibiting unprofessional behavior towards female employees and using aggressive language. - Leave policies: Junior employees are often denied leave, including PL, CL, and sick leave, while senior managers enjoy their weekends and week days as well. - Business ethics: The bank's management practices seem to lack business ethics and morals towards gender specific. - Expectation of constant availability: Junior employees, including those in Designation/Department (DE), are expected to be available 24/7, including weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and off-days, which is unsustainable and blurs the line between personal and professional life. - No compensation for extra work: Employees are not provided with compensatory off (comp-off) for working extra days or hours, leading to burnout and impacting work-life balance....Read More

The best thing about the organisation is it's work Life balance, there fare to bank fare to customer approach. In ICICI seniors are not allowed to pressure employee. Easy to crack business

The most dislike thing was they have college based promotion system, means if someone is graduated from best institute, he/she will get promoted even if their performance is below average.

Stay jobless, but don't work in this company, as they'll ask to carry your laptop while getting admitted in the hospital, they won't care about your well being, they only care about sales.

They don't care about your work-life balance, they don't care about your personal problems, they don't care whether you're mentally stable or not. They won't care about you or your efforts and your family doesn't exist for them. All they care about is sales

Work life balance is there if you are a Virtual RM. Salary is below average as compared to posh cities where cost of living is high like Bangalore. HR policies is good. Fresher should take a chance to learn and embibe in the field. Coming to promotion it is by default your years of experience and expertise in the domain.

Some of the middle management and audit teams are involving the branches and wrong potrait to super officials. Low level lady staff are working for only salary not for organisation. They will escalate the small things to HR also.

I like nothing about this bank. I won't blame the bank entirely rather I will blame the culture that they are continuing further. An employee Relationship Manager doesn't have only one boss to control him or her, every branch manager puts their demand in that single person and the RH doesn't even take any responsibility to protect his subordinates. I had an RH who works in Dibrugarh Branch, won't mention his name that man never stood by my side when I was correct at a point, and there are few branch manager who will make their own rules and regulations as like we are in college, he will ask you to say Goodmorning and Good evening every time when you see him I repeat there are only few that kind and the office culture is so much annoying that you can't even breath. People are ready to put you down. Importantly there is a third party named I-process, people working there carries more attitude then the RMs working there.
