We would like you to know that at HSC our median tenure year stands at an impressive 6.3 years, which is even more than the industry standards. In addition to that, majority of our employees have been with us for more than 10 years and many have been with us since our inception as well. At HSC we have also many ex-HSCians who have come back because of the culture that we offer. Certainly, an organisation that is “average in all criteria’s”, will not be able to retain the talent especially in these competitive times & market.
You must also be knowing that HSC is one of the few organisations globally that is PCMM & CMMi Level 5 certified. Which by extension means that all our processes and policies are conducted by well defined guidelines. When you say that “compensation varies a lot”, it comes across as a vague & misleading statement. But nonetheless, you are encouraged to talk to your manager, engineering group head or the engineering head for we do not shy away from such topics and walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. You can also leverage our internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Zero Hour etc. to share your concerns and suggestions, anonymously if you wish so.
Nevertheless, we wish many more years of your happy association with us.

The opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies with global clients and learning from the best tech minds by working alongside HSC offers an all-round learning experience with positive long-term effects on the growth of every HSCian.

Dear Anonymous,
While we understand that different people have different expectations and experiences, we are taken aback by the sweeping cons you have stated about Hughes Systique. A PCMM & CMMi Level – 5 certified and an organisation which has been on a path of growth with a rich legacy of over 16 years, but you found nothing positive.
Since your dislike section is replete of misleading and vague criticism, we will be addressing your claims from the very beginning. Even a short stint, albeit attentive though, would have enabled you to know that at HSC, in addition to our embedded lab, all our labs and Centres of Excellence are completely and have always been equipped with tools, resources & infrastructure that any of our projects and R&D initiatives require.
At HSC, just like customer centricity, employee centricity is a corner stone in our culture & value system. HSC’s policy on flexible working hours, ensures that HSCians have enough flexibility to strike a healthy work-Life balance. Yes, there are occasions when teams decide to extend themselves to meet project commitments and ensure quality & timely delivery. It is in such times that Flexi Time policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves, after extended hours.
Coming to your claim on salary, as a process, every new joiner at HSC is explained in detail the breakup of their salary at the time of making an offer to them. We are certain that you were clearly & in detail communicated the same. Therefore, you were aware and fine with the salary when you accepted the job offer with HSC but choose to criticise it for reasons best known to you. We are afraid that such an act is indicative of uncertain & hasty decision making and perception formation.
As part of the smooth onboarding & acclimatization with HSC, new joiners are imparted induction training. Nearly half a day is spent in giving a detailed description of what all technologies we work in, about our clients, our Centers of Excellence, Learning & Development opportunities. If the attendees would be attentive enough, they would not come across as clueless to make a remark like “Company with limited projects and mostly even to solve bugs”. It is just not possible for someone who paid attention to that Induction session to have missed out about the tech areas we work in and the on-going Customer projects & R&D initiatives around them. With experience & maturity, we hope you realize that effective feedback is one which is precise, even if harsh, and not sweepingly generic since it does not serve any purpose & can be misleading for others.
Our finance department ensures on time F&F clearance, every time but for your & readers’ handy information, we will reiterate that during the same induction mentioned above, the Finance instructor explains the F&F Clearance policy and shows the function of the separation portal which is easily accessible on intranet and clearly states the separation terms.
Through you, we would like to inform the readers of the review that HSCians can always share their concerns or suggestions through internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Zero Hour etc. also since we have an open-door policy, employees can always talk to their managers, engineering group heads or engineering heads, for we do not shy away from such conversations. We would have appreciated you leveraging these internal forums while you were at HSC and gotten your misconceptions & concerns resolved to lay the foundation for a fruitful & long association.
