Coming to the “Dislikes” section of your review, even though highly unusual given that each engineer’s growth and development is tracked by their managers on a regular basis, we advise you to kindly approach your manager, engineering group head or engineering head to get your concern addressed as we walk the talk when it comes to our open-door policy. We would like you to know that we have many on-going projects or R&D initiatives & projects, in which you can work on. Also, there are projects on-going in all domains that we work in and in addition, we have R&D initiatives/projects planned in all the domain that we work in. Thank you for taking the time out to review. While we are happy about your 2.3 years association with HSC, we are a little surprised that despite being at HSC for 2+ yrs, you still do not seem to have clarity about the flexible working hours policy even though it is covered in detail, during the new joinee induction program and is very much published on HSC’s intranet. Let us give you a quick brief on it. Just like Customer centricity, employee centricity is a corner stone in HSC’s culture & value system. HSC’s policy on flexible working hours, by definition, explains that we do not observe strict office timings.Yes there are occasions when teams decide to extend themselves to meet project commitments and ensure quality & timely delivery. It is in such times that Flexi Time policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves, after extended hours and maintain a healthy work life balance. We hope that we have been able to answer your concern and if you require any clarity still, then we suggest you avail the many internal communication resources or contact the HR team. Critiquing the culture at HSC was also very generic. HSC offers a stimulating environment for learning, collaborating, excellence & innovation. We take great pride in our people centric culture, which we have painstakingly built over the years. Dear Anonymous, Thank you for reviewing our remuneration policy fairly. We have always identified and rewarded the right talent with what they deserve, irrespective of the current notions and trends in the industry. Cons, “No Job Security” & “hire & fire culture”, mentioned by you are absolutely untrue & misleading. Anyone who has worked with HSC or even has known HSC remotely is aware that we have never laid off or fired even a single employee in all these years, not even in the face of daunting challenges like the 2008 financial meltdown or more recently, during Covid-19 pandemic. Addressing the second part mentioned as a con, given the competition across industries, businesses are run to offer value to customer in the form of quality timely deliveries and HSC is no different in its focus on customer centricity. We take great pride in stating that self-driven HSCians have always risen to the occasion, whenever needed, and pulled off admirable challenges. That is how we all, at HSC, learn, evolve and grow together as a team. Just like Customer centricity, employee centricity is a corner stone in HSC’s culture & value system.
