No hike no promotion since I joined HCL. They come up with a new excuse to not give hike in salery. After completing 6 years in HCL, I am still on the same package. If you change and rejoin then you will get a better offer

Worst pay raise system in place. The amount of appraisal you get in HCL in 5 years is what you can get in a year in other company. Worst higher management.

Dislikes

They try to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.

Job security, international client base, on-site, decent facilities in office, multiple technologies so you can move internally and learn.

Dislikes

Poor salary hike, people loyal to the company are under appreciated, no mechanism to match the salary of existing employees as per market standards no matter how skilled or certified we are. Lazy employees who are in good books with managers are not questioned leading to more workload on employees who are hard working. Regional politics and use of regional languages by senior management.

Being a new comer employee to HCL Tech gurugram, its going to be tough for me now. Its been one full month since I gave Walk in interview. And the operation interview I gave was on 28 November 2024. Its been approx 20 days and My joining date has not came yet. Earlier my joining date was 9 December 2024 but then it extended but I don't know till when. No update and nothing.
