The ever leading topic of notice period

I am working currently as a team lead for hcl and since idiotically I didn't switch any companies from start 2019 till now, I have a measly ctc of 4.3 lpa. I got an offer accepting 8lpa , but they are demanding to join in 15 days. And hcltech, being the company it is, is having 90 days notice period, negotiable to 60 days only. Initial negotiation with my current manager and the new company hr didn't go over that well, I am in a bind now. Any suggestions?

HCL has shown pro-activeness while taking all necessary steps as far as this pandemic is concerned. They made sure that wfh is implemented at the earliest and all IT services were provided remotely. WFH transition was absolutely smooth. However, regarding return to office, it seems HCL is way to early as compared to its peers. Specially, considering that Delhi/NCR is facing worst covid wave, we could have delayed return to office plans....Read More

There is no transparency when it comes to career growth opportunities. There are no skip level discussions. Infact, there is no such one-o-one forum where we can provide real feedback to HCL leadership.
