Senior Management is literally diplomatic now a days & not concerned about the growth of others. No transparency any more as using employees as per their convenience. Overall rating has gone down & increment system has gone drastically. No onshore movements or visits any more.

Genpact is a great company to begin your career. There is one side cab facility but that is also chargeable at a nominal rate. 3 days working from office. You may get enough rewards and due promotions if you are deserving.

Dislikes

No extra benefits and perks you may get. Company doesn't spend on its employees. No bigger celebrations. You may not receive required support from HR post resuming work from Maternity leave. One has to try at their end to look for an opportunity.

Worst leadership. They are all friends and schoolmates etc supporting and cover each other's back and incompetence. Money is for avp and above and if you are a friend of anyone from the gang of leaders. You cannot survive here by just working you need to cajoule the leadership and be fake. - Improper management of new joiners. They won't give you any information about the company. You would have to figure it out yoirself. - The managers are weird and egoistic. They would take actions out of aggression and not because they want you to do better as an employee. - The safety is a joke. While the company had positive aspects, certain practices and conditions raised concerns: Transportation Limitations: The provision of one-sided pickup without drop-off facilities created significant logistical challenges, especially for employees working late shifts. This often left employees without a reliable way to return home safely after work. Restricted Access to Personal Devices: The policy prohibiting personal phones in the workplace limited communication opportunities and posed challenges in emergency situations, where being reachable was crucial. Food and Canteen Services: The canteen facilities were not operational during night shifts, despite clear recognition that many employees worked during those hours. This lack of support for staff working late may have affected employee morale and well-being. High-Pressure Environment: Employees frequently experienced pressure to meet cold-calling targets, sometimes receiving calls from team leaders during lunch breaks, which disrupted personal time and contributed to stress. Management Practices: There was a noticeable gap in the technical competence of some team leaders, specifically regarding essential tools such as Gmail and Microsoft Teams. This lack of knowledge hindered effective communication and operational efficiency. Inflexibility Regarding Attendance: Instances arose where genuine reasons for absence, such as road reconstruction in my area or personal illness, were not adequately understood or accepted by team leaders. This led to undue pressure to report to the office without consideration of circumstances beyond my control. Unprofessional Conduct: I experienced a lack of professional support from management during my probation period. For example, when I was severely ill and unable to attend work, I was not only asked for medical proof but was also threatened with salary deductions. After presenting the necessary documentation confirming my hospitalization, the response did not exhibit consideration for my situation. No one role IJP in Genpact so not a good place to work if you want to work only try for process developer which is on papers. Please kindly request to put everything on papers for the employees
