1. Job security is always there. Even if you are not skilled enough, the company always retains you. You'll be placed in a new project even if you don't do well in your current project/process. 2. Work-life balance is there to an extent, but varies from role to role.

Dislikes

1. Extremely poor hikes (less than 5% to 6% annually). 2. The pay is way below the average market standards and it comes no way close to what benchmark. 3. The company uses reasons like job security and work life balance as an excuse to give decent hikes which are inflation adjusted. 4. Growth is very slow. There is partiality and favouritism in most parts of the company. Even the most loyal employees get promoted once in every 6-7 years. 5. You'll get a promotion and 15% hike only when you are putting down the papers. 6. The work is strictly mediocre and they brand themselves as an AI first company on social media. Even those at VP / SVP levels don't have solid understanding of AI and other technologies, all they do is schedule meetings and waste time, which can be sorted out over an email. 7. Every day working from office From project Boeing, there is no client requirement still i have to do night shift. There is no flexibility no work from home, If i have a medical issue still i have to do night shift or i can apply leave No work from home no flexibility in my project. I am very frustrated. Some Manager behaviour is not good. I am working here to less salary even in my team same folks also work double of my package with same experience. We work here every day 10 to 12 hours continued without overtime payouts. I don't want to wright here everything.

Genpact is a good company and learned a lot here.

Dislikes

What I don't like is that here, the employees are not getting their rights like they are not allowed our monthly holiday which is given by the company or we are being made to work even on weekends or even on national holidays. (eg holi, diwali, raksha bhandan, republic day, gandhi jayanti, etc). The manager behaves rudely with everyone. Other employees are also not satisfied.

The work culture previously it was employee centric however now it is more centric on client even if employee is suffering.

I left Genpact due to some family reasons and my HR and SM told me I can rejoin after six months and now when I try to re applied in Genpact, they are not taking me in consideration I am the least priority for them they are not valuing there own resources.

Don't join Kolkata Genpact because it has toxic environment as well as toxic people. People seating in higher position like managers, they are very much arrogant and rude not at all well mannered. It's my personal experience. I regret joining Kolkata Genpact.

Reporting Managers are terrible not all but some to save their mistakes they will screw other life with showcasing multiple incorrect reasons to management. Create bad impression on the other person life. I am a manager for me I have faced the such problem,you can imagine the freshers and below manager level.

There might be something good but i have not experienced it yet because from the day 1 i have joined the company My reporting manager (Parminder Singh) judging me for my work even from the time i was not started working.

As per my experience till date with Genpact is not so far good Even i feel pressurised and there is so much politics and biased behaviour exist. Manager always humiliated and openly said i have noted all the point, now i will see appraisals and wik of the employees which is not a good behaviour at all

There is nothing which is like in terms of Genpact . There is no straightforward promotion policy in Genpact Even in some process micromanagement and office politics are at very broad level.

Dislikes

Manager do not know how to communicate with their colleagues. Even in some cases proper nepotism is exist
