Some managers openly encourage favoritism, biasing and they see treat employees from other states differently. Unfortunately I saw group culture like Tamil group, Kannadagroup, mallu group and so on and there is so much politics that even game of thrones is also small. No proper encouragement for talented associates. For promotions you either from the same state or place as your manager or you literally good at licking their a**, They don't hesitate to snatch the credits of your work.
