Disappointing Experience I had high hopes, but my time here was marred by a toxic work culture. The management prioritizes sycophancy over merit, making it clear that career growth is tied to appeasing those in power rather than delivering quality work. Freedom of speech is non-existent, and the focus is on securing business deals by any means necessary. This environment can erode your personal values and leave you vulnerable in difficult situations. The HR policy appears impressive at first glance, claiming that no employee will be terminated solely for business reasons. However, I've witnessed HR block attendance and coerce employees into resigning on orders from higher-ups. After merger of city bank , bank may be in loss hence looking for employee lay off , unnecessary sales presure . There is no good system like other bank for processing customer request and account opening, bank Working like 90's era , No redressal system, No one want to take responsibility.

The Kalindi branch in kolkata is good company culture. They behave like friends the atmosphere is very good. They always treat me like sister in branch we also celebrated Rakhi Bandhan day in our bank .The Manager, Sales Manager, Operations head were very good.I worked as a sales executive in this bank the sales team all members arereally very good. I really enjoyed work with. We also celebrated Ganesh puja Diwali and also picnic the sales manager is a good cooker he cooked food for us the taste was so good The sales manager was big brother for me. One day I suffered from fever the Bank manager said that you take rest and after that you join the bank in the mean time there was a problem one customer's account the branch manager handled the situation very pleasantly in my absence the problem was solved . First of all I started work at kalindi branch in kolkata it was my first branch.After 3 months of working there they send me a transfer mail which is cossipore. This branch one of the worst branch I had work with.The branch employees were really bad like their language towards me was really bad they have always put down my confidence in everything. They believe that I couldn't done anything alone for my self because I was fresher in banking culture they thought they are 4 years experience so I was nothing infront of them instead of helping me they always said I was nothing I cannot do anything at my own .One day when I returned home from the cossipore bank I felt that I could not done good because their words were deeply affecting my health . Also in this branch work pressures were too much to compare with earlier branch . They always put me in pressure . Everyday I had to go alone in market to meet the customer nobody was go with me I feel so discomfort about that . After one months I decided that I would resgin from this bank so I had to serve notice period about 30 days In this days they always taunt me put me down in everything. Everything. You have to come to bank before 9 AM but there is no strict timing for going back . You are not appreciated for your work. If you are going good work you have to do more work. Work culture is very toxic.

Everything. According to them you will have to work even in accidents. There is pressure every day. You will have to reach office at 8:15 in the morning and leave after taking permission at 10:30 in the night, even then you will be taunted. Do "Siddhi" accounts FD's and Li and GI even on Sunday, agar nahi kar paye to have a concall with the cluster head or zonal head. If by mistake you take leave due to fever then give the medical certificate and they will call the doctor and verify it... Pathetic culture. No one helps you. Neither HR nor CH, no one helps.... If you are thinking of joining Axis then forget your personal life. Along with abusive language, he also becomes violent. He attacks the family over trivial matters. I will not say anything about the salary. Basically your career, mental health and life will all be ruined if you joined Axis Bank.
