Amdocs is not a good place for work. I was working at Phursungi location, everyone is boss there. This organisation look for personal instead of professional aspects. Lost job in pendamic since I was professional and not personal with Managers. How to seat, how to speak, how to keep ur desk clean also has rules. Have to have listen boss even if it is wrong. Jr who doesn't know much are kept by company but not seniors. Nothing is good to talk about so shared real issue facing by everyone but not everyone is vocal....Read More

Can understand work pressure but u can not even go for washroom if there is work pressure. For every break you'll have to take permission, if says yes u can go for brk, if not u ll hv to wait for permission.

Food and perks, night shift allowance are good things in Amdocs. Parking is also free.

If you work with full effort and perform is good then you will get double work. This things are not really good. It harms our health and you will get back pain for sure in few days.

I worked there in R&D department, toxic environment, there is nothing to like about this company

- Toxic Environment - No Work Life Balance - No Job Security (they can remove anyone in a day, I saw my friend's getting layoff by this people without notice, in my first 6 months I saw 17 silent layoffs) - Better to choose any mid-size company instead of joining here - Managers do favouritism - Even HRs are rude, and they should learn from newcomers how to talk

Company used to be fun, HR policies were emplyee centric. From past one year this is changing still food fun activities and outing are a plus.

Management is worse and manipulative.No hikes and bonus and the process is not at all transparent. Work life balance depends on project to project but mostly the work culture is becoming toxic where the employee is expected to work on weeeknds and after work hours with no incentives.There is no incentives and the company is implementing cost cutting more than it should implement new technology.Feshers should not be blinded with reels on food and gifts posted on social media, all of it is a gimmick and far from reality....Read More

Every manager knows eng salary and bases on that they do their appraisal. No criteria for appraisal each team following different approach. I have been joined a year ago and still giving me explanation that you are not considered in PMP and the one who has got hike in july has got appraisal and bonus both. this is the favouritism going on.

Everything is good but this is subjective to project or role. Best part of Amdocs is, it provide lateral project switch after a certain period with the hike. Additionally, benefits like subsidized food and cab, good work life balance.

Nowadays lot of uncertainty with the job security. Previously, Amdocs use to have good job security.

Overall work balance is fine which is both good and bad as quility of work is not that great and working on new market technologies is also not that much prominent.

Dislikes

Lack of learning opportunities of new cutting edge technologies. Lack of financial growth. The higher management is kind of ignorant towards the financial growth of the existing old employees. There are very scarce and limited projects where you can see the actual development work, rest most of the departments are just providing support and services. It's shifting towards a service based company.
