Heavy work, frustrated and whatever happens they will not support us. For leave and salary hike and shifts timings we cannot ask they will blame us like anything. No respect will give to us. Tons of things to say. First of all, no good trainings given to the new employees. All the team leaders, bosses and managers are in real hurry from day one. There is no proper introduction given about the company and also about the works/tasks we are supposed to do. The place we work is dirty, noisy and ergonomically poorly designed. Other senior employees laugh, talk, murmur while working so it gets very difficult for the new comers to work in a focused manner in a quiet environment. Hardly any breaks for food in a 8-10 hrs shift. Lastly Accenture hired me in a rotational job shift but after clearing all my interviews when I was hired I was out to work only in night shift. I also questioned them that we had an agreement that I would be working in Accenture in a rotational shift position then why are you guys assigning me only night shift!? Well they were speechless and had their backs against the wall and didn’t have any answers. Such things happen in Accenture India. I would highly recommend people to first see the workplace, the work and the timings you all are getting hired for and then if everything is fine then only join. I am not seeing any good thing regarding learning point of view, work point of view. Yeah good thing you will get so many event mail like secret santa, fun friday but you can't participate if you don't have good relation with manager. You will be enjoying Accenture if you have good relation with your manager. They are not entertain other state people, means if you are from other state people except south india then they will be trouble, no1 support you, no1 will bother what you are doing atlast they will not give you anything and they will give you the different reason. Everything is dislike. If you are not from south indian then you will be trouble. I am requesting to Accenture if you don't like other state people then don't hire other state people and don't spoil other sate resources career. You are giving money that means you can't do anything with your employee.

You are not being value as a person. You have to sacrifice your personal life. Promotions are based on buttering skill if you do not possess that skill you may not even get the variable pay promotion and appraisals remains your dream though you have done your job well.

People have their own projects and work independently with onshores and not Indian managers

Dislikes

Toxic work environment. If you raise genuine concerns or issues with management they will not listen and then tag it you as complaint box. This will also affect ur rating. Protect their favourites. People who butter the Indian leads gets promotion within a year or two and get good joke. Favouritism is very much prevalent.

Hence accenture is a great company for working standard but i did work started in Accenture past 2 years but still in contract.. why there are taking such huge time for conversion is an question mark .. they can improve to get fast card convertion.

Worst work culture full of advertisment, felt like they spent alot of money in social media. No hikes and less salary, work like slavery in Service desk amd application support jobs. Like call center job with worst management and politics. Most of the managers doesnt even know basic troubleshooting or not even know the process. Favorism is there for management, and some of the managers have basic bcom degree or non IT degree and come to become manager in IT, and not even have knowledge about basic technical details....Read More

How it is obsessed with diversity and women

Been at the company for 7 years Achieved all sorts of milestones in terms of work Leading a team of 6 being just a senior dev Increased business value of the project Also achieved expert proficiency and certifications But Accenture believes in financial well being and diversity, thus dividing everything amongst everyone and within that favouring women employees Top Performers have no role here

work life balance is maintained since full WFH, not sure how it will look when people are asked back to offices.

They dont live up to their culture. Non sensitive People managers. People like me working more than 10-12 hours everyday. Lot of people for doing everything but no responsibility takers

Had a good group of friends with whom I shared the same plight.

I was with Mumbai Mobilization team. Leadership is horrible.. they treat their teams like their fiefdom. No matter to whom u escalate the issues.. it's goes unheard. Reporting issues to HR is also of no use. From outside Accenture seems like a dream company.. inside it's all rotten.

Established structure with nominal benefits and vast Alumni base.

Everything depends on Project and Management. Accenture policies are not being implemented by Leadership and Management, hence there is no work-life balance and benefits even like getting compensated for weekend support or 16hr of overtime. Management Politics are commonly seen.

Worklife balance and culture is good and lot of celebration of festival and team outings too done at FP&a profile . So its a mixed environment.

Dislikes

Salary hikes and bonus part is concern here there is too partially on it and only favouritism will get all the hikes , the hard working will suffer just by saying that better luck next time.
