Working in Accenture will have a good exposure on the cutting edge technologies and in fact I was the part of the presales team. Good consulting skills will flair in Accenture as you tend to interact much with the customers. Having said that the compensation benefits in Accenture is very competitive in the market. They are pay masters.
As said, compensation in the company is good however the growth is very slow. The work life balance is difficult to manage. Tend to work more than 12 hours in a day.
My work at Accenture was very challenging. I was leading the presales for cloud RFP's predominantly for government customers.

It provides the flexibility in working from home, and some project only requires 5 days a month in office with team dinner
Projects are very less , we have to be in Bench for long time , noone will approach us to put in a project if we are hardlock to any training incubation projects , those incubation project are not billable , hence it will affect our variable pay and monthly performance.

Work from home option is there in few projects which is great.
Promotion and hikes are based on buttering skills, favoritism and not on the hard work. Hardworking employees often end up with more tasks, while others work for few hours a day. I think there is not much about the pros of Accenture just that it doesn't release bench employees too soon.
First and main thing, work culture. It has become very toxic and they pull out the hell out of you. A big shout for working mother's please don't join Accenture if you are WFH. They just do not understand the challenges we face as a mother and they expect you to be pro active all the time till late evening as well.

Some leads and people are supportive, work culture is good until you are performing well and not going to office daily.
If you are going to office daily get ready for the corporate politics, toxic managers. Alot of things, Work is pathetic, people are below average, with little knowledge they seem to know alot. Specially mid management. High focus on gender diversity has led to inclusion of under deserving workforce which is highly non meritorious. Micro management is a key issue.
