I appeared for an interview in Feb 2025.

Round 1 - Coding Test

By seeing the company name, I felt very good before attending the interview.

I have 5 years of hands on experience with DevOps practices along with GCP, Azure experience.

That’s my Tech stack, generally developers writes the code, its not devops engineer who writes the java code. we write scripting by using python and shell scripting.

The Interviewer have exp of 11 years in developer, he told me to write the java code, After talking to him after 5-10 minutes I have understood he didn’t anything about DevOps ..

Then What is the point of conducting an interview? its simply time wasted . Automative expert can suggest us to buy a good car. in the same way, Interviewer should be relevant guy, he should be the right person to judge skillset.

Finally he told we are looking for java based devops engineers. Then why your JD doesn’t include Java ?
