Hi, tier 1 mba, working as a management consultant in a niche industry. I was reached out by a private equity firm for an operations analyst role. Highly coveted role, but not investment side. 1.5 years tier 1 mba experience 16L current fixed, PE firms pay 30L fixed to investment analyst out of tier 1 mba colleges. Considering my experience, how much should I ask for? Anyone who is aware? For the life of me I couldn't find one operations analyst to consult

Likes

Great place for collaboration and networking. Amazing facilities but restricted usage based on career level. Decent leadership depending on the business you're in. Okay benefits and hybrid work environment.

Dislikes

Not market leaders in terms of compensation. Deloitte plays it safe by staying in top 5 for pay. Promotions happen only if there is enough budget in the business and Business leader's personal preference. Too many rules and restrictions.

...garding the work which we done in the year then they start some cinematic story. Your salary is already high or outside market is done. Your are star performer in the whole year but still something is missing you are not a role model or when they give promotion by mistake Your name will not be in the list. Then manager says computer error.

Likes

No more a place with good work culture, reduced quality ,pay not adjusted to market, becoming another low class service based company. If you are a fresher they will use you very badly just as a backup for the whole team shamelessly all the time without guiding you .

Likes

The Peeple, The culture, The leadership visits with free food :), Work satisfaction at least in finance teams, and Occasional ethnic wear :), these all make the Deloitte best. However, I know the culture may vary from team to team, but if you are able to find a good team, you are all sorted.
