1) No matter how hard you work your appraisal will be very low. 2) No work life balance. 3) No job security, they can kick you out if you are on bench. 4) They will make you work extra hours and extra days but would never pay you for those extra hours. 5) No facilities provided by the company, terrible laptops and internet in the office. 6) They charge their customers heavily but try to hire their developers very cheap and with no benefits. 7) You will always be undervalued here, no matter how hard you work or how skilled you are. Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
