a senior qa engineer -software testing
So now that I understand the role of a Business Analyst, as a QA Engineer with 3.5 years of experience, I am thinking of transitioning to Product Owner. But before that it would be a lot easier for me to get into a BA role rather than aiming for PO. Any one with the experience of BA or who transitioned themselves into PO from a technical role, kindly let me know how to be one. Your insights and suggestions are much needed.

You’re on the right path – moving into a BA role will help you build the foundational skills needed for a PO role.
Have you looked into learning more about Agile methodologies and user stories?

A BA role could definitely be a stepping stone to a PO position. Are you thinking about building up your stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills for the transition?
